Set against the backdrop of Cologne, a diving school is the crossroads where a clique of the small district meets to switch off from everyday life and to gain distance from the problems that they carry around with them. One of those people is Georg, (Florian Fitz) who works for the homicide squad. On his first wedding anniversary, he is called to a murder case, and whilst it's clear to everyone that his marriage to Gisela is already broken as she becomes more and more disgusted by Georg's "corpse hands", it's made worse when Georg takes her to the scene of the crime and is confronted with the corpse, which she cannot cope with.
