Alvaro (Jorge Román) is an outsider who lives a simple and lonely life in a region of Argentina which is completely lost in time. Being gay isolates him even further. El Turu, the captain of the water bus which links isolated communities, is a violent man, and feeling threatened by Alvaro's sexuality, he sets out to harass him.
